(Ages 3 Months – 2.5 Years)

Our bright and welcoming playroom for babies and toddlers offers many stimulating and educational toys and activities for your child to enjoy.

Daily activities may include:

• Role play
• Sensory play
• Imaginative and Constructive play
• Hand-eye Co-ordination Toys
• Creative Art and Painting Skills
• Sand and Water Play
• Outdoor play

Every activity is planned in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage, a structure of learning, development and care produced by the government.

Our qualified and experienced team are trained to understand the importance of ensuring your child’s routine is as similar to home as possible.

We keep a daily chart of your child’s activities and routine to keep you informed of their progress during their day at Windmill Nursery.

BUTTERFLY ROOM

(Ages 2.5 – 5 Years)

In our spacious, bright and educational playroom, your child will be encouraged to learn through activities to stimulate both their mind and language development. We encourage each child to learn at their own pace so they will enjoy their day at Windmill Nursery.

Following the seven stages of the Early Years Foundation Stage, a structure of learning, development and care produced by the government, we organise activities that promote:

• Physical Development
• Understanding the World
• Mathmatics
• Expressive arts and design
• Literacy

• Regular Story Time
• Singing Sessions

Your child’s skills and progress records are regularly reviewed to ensure that your child’s needs are met through effective planning of activities.
